Suzanne Glémot
Suzanne Glémot is an artist and bookbinder living in Iowa City, IA. She earned her MFA from the University of Iowa Center for the Book, where she studied bookbinding and letterpress printing. Through design binding, boxes, and pochoir prints, she grapples with varying facets of memorialization—personal, familial, and social.
Suzanne is also trained in library preservation and book conservation, and she works in the Conservation & Collections Care department at the University of Iowa Libraries. She has previously worked at the Library of Congress, and has taught classes at the Maine Media Workshop, the Minnesota Center for Book Arts, and the Purple Word Center for Book & Paper Arts.
